Responsible Gaming

My rules for keeping betting fun and affordable.

Note 01

Play, don't chase

Football accumulators, slots and the Lucky Wheel are fun, but every result is random. Gambling is a cost of entertainment, not a way to earn a living. Stop while you are still enjoying it.

note

You must be 18 or older to gamble. Keep your phone, PINs and passwords away from children.

Note 02

A simple weekly plan

  1. Write down the amount you can afford to lose this week.
  2. Keep that money separate from rent, school fees, food and savings.
  3. Decide how long each session will last.
  4. Never use loans, credit or money meant for others to gamble.
  5. When the budget is used up, stop until next week.

Note 03

Signs to take seriously

  • You bet more or for longer than you meant to.
  • You try to win back losses straight away.
  • You hide your betting from family or friends.
  • You feel tense or irritable when you cannot bet.
  • Gambling is affecting your work, studies or relationships.

If you see these signs, take a break and talk to someone you trust.

Note 04

Bonuses and rakeback in perspective

A welcome bonus with 40x wagering, a daily wheel and rakeback can make it feel like you should play every day. You don't have to. Never deposit more than planned to reach a higher bonus tier, and never raise your stakes to finish wagering faster.

If gambling is hurting you or your family, speak with a doctor, a counsellor, a trusted friend or a faith leader. GamCare and Gamblers Anonymous offer free information and online help.
